had a wonderful weekend getaway. The house is right in the dunes so getting
down to the private beach was super quick and easy. The beds and couch were
super comfortable, and we had a bottle of complementary wine waiting for us.

family LOVED this townhome in Tower Shores with the most amazing ocean views.
Since we have small kids, it was a real treat to be so close to the beach where
we could easily take one of little ones up for naptime or grab lunch. The owner
was so friendly and wonderful to work with....easily answering any question we
had. The beds were also the most comfortable of any beds we've ever slept in
while in a beach rental! The home is modestly decorated, but was perfect for
our family and all you need for an incredible beach getaway. Highly recommend!

loved staying at the property with easy beach access. It was spacious and

We
have been coming to Bethany Beach for six years now and have stayed at five
different places always searching for the perfect rental. This year we found
it! As soon as we walked in the door we could tell this house was so much
cleaner than the previous rentals. Since there isn't a screened in back porch
we had beautiful unrestricted views of the ocean. The owner had lots of
thoughtful little things (such as shower caddies in the showers to hold all
your stuff!) that were greatly appreciated. I had to contact the owner with a
minor issue and she went above and beyond to make sure the issue was resolved.
As soon as I returned home I booked our stay for next year!! As far as we are
concerned this is our forever vacation home!!

was our first time renting a beach property, and it was such a good experience
that we want to do it again! Ocean Spirit is just amazing - right on the beach
but still private. The unit itself was clean and well-kept; the furniture was
all really nice and the floor-plan made it easy to accommodate 2 families
without getting in each other's way. It is very well located, also, with very
convenient shopping. The owners were considerate and easy to work with, and we
even had a bottle of wine waiting for us - what a great touch! We will
definitely rent this unit again and would recommend it to all -

We
have stayed on Bethany Beach for over ten years, all at Tower Shores. Ocean
Spirit is by far our favorite condo right on the Beach. The owners are friendly
and are wonderful to work with and, unlike other owners whose property we have
rented, the Plotkin's live nearby in case anything is
needed. We spent the week there with two of our daughters, their husbands and
five grandchildren and had plenty of room...and fun! Bethany and Rehoboth
Beaches have plenty of great restaurants and family activities nearby, and
shopping at the three Tanger Malls in Rehoboth is
sales tax free.

was my 5th year staying at Tower Shores complex but 1st at this property. How
can it not be great....it is right on the beach! 3 decks overlooking the ocean,
enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast in pajamas on the deck and evenings under
the stars! The owners were awesome with which to work!! Looking forward to next

After
spending the last 15-20 years at the Outer Banks we decided to come back to
Bethany since it is closer to our grown children. This experience did not
disappoint. Everyone loved being right on the beach -- and our stay had the
added benefit of being during a full moon -- so the nights were gorgeous too.
This house is well appointed -- and the beds are very comfortable. The location
is ideal as well -- a bit out of the center traffic, but close enough to
everything. Having a great restaurant at the end of the street was an added
treat -- Matt's Fish Camp has delicious food and is a few minutes
walk from the house.

was our 10th year at Ocean Spirit. The owners have not only maintained the
house perfectly, but have also supplied extras such as beach chairs and umbrellas.
The house was again perfect for our children and grandchildren who now range in
age from 20 to 60. Our oldest granddaughter was just married and her brother
toasted us at the wedding with special thanks for our Bethany Beach years. At
night the stars seem touchable. Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean and
waking up to see the sunrise are unforgettable experiences. We also love the
location and being close to Matt's Fish Camp for excellent take-out and dine in
food. In addition, Rehoboth, Fenwick, and Ocean City are a short drive away. My
husband and I and our family wholeheartedly recommend Ocean Spirit.

After
going to the White Mountains for over 10 years we wanted a change. After the
kids balked at driving 10+ hours to go to the outer banks, I recalled Bethany
as a place I had been as a child. The unit was beautiful, and perfect for our
family. Our 5 kids range in age from early teens to early 20's and they all had
a great time. The place was very nicely appointed, from the kitchen supplies to
the wifi to the beach gear. There is nothing like
being right on the beach. Everything is just a short walk away. We rented
kayaks for the week and almost everybody went out to kayak with the many
dolphins that swim by every day. The location between Bethany and Rehoboth
means you are a short drive away from nightlife, restaurants, and other
attractions. The top deck is a great place to gather at night and watch the
stars.

We
loved it!! This is one of the nicest places we have rented at Bethany Beach. It
was so clean and beautiful! There were plenty of bathrooms for everyone to use,
and comfortable beds. The kitchen has been recently upgraded and is very nice.
The top roof deck had an incredible view of the ocean along with laid back
chairs. Everyday we walked right on the beach as
early as 5 am.
There
are many things you can do down at Bethany. Restaurants like Matt's Fish Camp
is nearby, can choose restaurants from the north to the south: Lewes, Rehoboth
Beach, Dewey Beach, Bethany Beach, Fenwick Islands, and then Ocean City, MD.
Rehoboth Beach is a short drive north, Ocean City, Maryland is a short drive
south, and Assateague Island (with the wild horses) are both a short trip away.
Then there is Berlin, Md which is about a 25 minute
trip. Activities and attractions are on everyday.

was our families second trip to Ocean Spirit. While the weather was not the
best the house is wonderful for those that love the beach. Unobstructed views
of the shoreline , birds, and rolling ocean in a comfortable well maintained,
well stocked home. We grilled, cooked in and enjoyed local restaurants. The
surf fishers had easy access to the State Seashore Park. We all enjoyed the 3
foot Rock Fish caught there in the surf. We saw (first tine
in 40yrs coming to beach) a humped back whale just yards off shore.! Could not
ask for more.

This
makes the 2nd year in a row my friends and I have stayed at these oceanfront
units (Ocean Spirit and Silver Dawn). The accommodations are excellent and well
maintained. Beach access is great especially if you like to surf fish. Our
group was a "guys getaway" while our wives were up in Rehobeth at their "getaway". Our priorities were
fish, eat and baseball. There are a number of good restaurants in either
Bethany or Rehobeth nearby but Matt's Seafood Camp is
a short block away(walk) and is excellent for fresh seafood.

LOVED this place. You can not get closer to the
water. Spacious rooms, excellent views, clean and tidy. Everything one would
want from a vacation home. The tide was up a little higher than normal but was
fabulous for my small grandchildren. Would diffidently rent again and can not wait to be able to do that!

What
more could you want? Direct beach access and very comfortable sleeping quarters
for 12 people. We rented the Ocean Spirit the last two years and I look forward
to renting again next year. The owners are very easy to work with and have been
extremely accommodating. My only hesitation in writing this review is that too
many other people will discover the Ocean Spirit and all it has to offer. I'd
prefer to keep it all to myself.

a great time at Ocean Spirit over an unseasonably chilly long weekend in June.
The house has been nicely updated and has an unbeatable location on the dunes
with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Updated appliances in the kitchen
were an added bonus. The beach was clean and quiet. Bedroom layout was perfect
for 2 families (2 couples each with 2 children under the age of 4) with room to
spare. Full outdoor shower as well as complement of beach chairs/umbrellas,
sand toys. All it needed was a hot tub on the roof....if only the home owner's
association would allow it ;-)

Our
family just stayed for one week at Ocean Spirit and had a wonderful time, so memorable
and special! Ocean Spirit is ideally located, oceanfront on a private beach. We
took morning and evening walks on the beach, finding shells, sea glass,
horseshoe crabs, and even a seahorse. Some afternoons were spent relaxing and
sunning on the beach; it was so nice just stepping out the door onto the beach,
which we had mostly to ourselves. The house is lovely with three decks and
heavenly views. We enjoyed seeing the dolphins passing by and playing every
day. It was so wonderful to hear the ocean waves from the house and smell the
salt air!
We
had never stayed in Bethany before and fell in love with the charm of the town,
so clean and we'll landscaped, not crowded, with interesting shops and
restaurants.
The
owners were very easy to work with and responsive to all our questions. I would
love to stay here again!

made our annual Columbus Day visit to the shore and in spite of the weather
(very windy and at times wet) we had an enjoyable stay. The condo was excellent
and the grand kids had fun walking the beach and playing at the edge of the
ocean. Fishing was not possible due to the on-shore winds making the ocean very
angry looking but everyone found things to do - shopping, eating at the condo
or at local restaurants, playing board games, reading and watching football and
NASCAR. It was just a great chance to get away and spend time with family.

had a wonderful time this year. Liked the new blue carpeting. I thought the
place was much cleaner than before. You might want to tell your cleaners to
make sure the kitchen counters are wiped after cleaning. There was a
"film" all over them. And the sliding doors (1st floor) to the deck
were very dirty. Handprints all over them. We had to clean them both inside and
outside. Those were the only two areas that I thought needed more attention.
We'll
be looking forward to another long weekend visit next September. We'll be in

Lovely
home, beautiful private beach and in Bethany, the Quiet Resort. The perfect
place for a family vacation---even if it was the week after the unnamed
tropical storm! We plan to return. If you have small children just be aware
that there is no lifeguard on this pristine private stretch of beach. The beach
is also adjacent to the Delaware State Parks section of beach so you can walk
forever and never encounter a single highrise---my
idea of heaven. Nothing like the mayhem in Ocean City---but if you like mayhem
that is only a short drive south---as is Assateague and the wild ponies.

spacious with generous size bedrooms and baths. And we love the family
dining room table that accommodates
our extended family. One suggestion - please get a new
toaster as it does not
toast on both sides of the bread, you need to flip it.

Fantastic long weekend
at Bethany Beach. …Instant beach access which is very relaxing…We
were a short drive to
shopping, dining, and many other activities. We found this home to be very
clean and quiet… was so
handy to be able to walk right out and fish and swim without the
exhaustion of carting
everything everyone needs since the home's steps lead right to the shore.
We spent our evenings
watching the moon over the water and our mornings to sunrises on the
ocean. We also won't
forget the dolphins and sand castles. Thanks for the ease in reservations
each year, as well as
the extras - such as having well-stocked cabinets of dishes, washer and
dryer, and games …
already looking forward to another fun-filled time next year.

condo was better than ever. Grandkids found the new changes…Being right
on the beach is a great
advantage with 9 people with varied interests…. The kitchen and other
amenities made it easy
to prepare meals when we decided to stay in rather than eat at a
restaurant…especially
like the sunrises and moonrises. See you next year.

What a perfect family
vacation weekend! Our trip was everything we hoped for and more. We
saw the dolphins every
morning after the amazing sunrise and even got to see some surfers
hitting the waves! The
weather was great and we all got to take a swim in the ocean, build
sandcastles and
"chill out" on the porch. Oh yeah, it's snowing at home !!!

So enjoyed being here
again in your very lovely beach home. "Heaven on earth" is looking

the ocean and hearing
the waves come ashore! The dolphins came everyday – always a special
treat to see them. Time
passed too quickly – which means we had lots of fun and laughter….The

in Bethany were the friendliest, most helpful I ever encountered: at the
bank, post office,

We had a wonder week at
Ocean Spirit. It was the first time we hadn't stayed at Sea Colony in
over 25 years and it
worked out perfectly for the 2 ½ year old and 11 month old twins. We all
voted to come back next

Thank for a spectacular
vacation! The house is beautiful and it is wonderful to be able to step
right out on the beach and

are a wonderful bonus.
This was the first time our family has been together for a beach vacation

Many thanks for renting
your beautiful beach house to us. Our kids and grandkids visited us
briefly so the most we
had at any time was seven so we did not have to use the bunk/trundle. We
still think Northeast is
the best of the better restaurants. We also went to Lupo
di Mare in the
Hotel Rehoboth and it
was very good Italian food. For casual, we love crepes and salad nicoise at
Café Papillon
in Rehoboth on Penny Lane between Wilmington and Rehoboth Avenue. Burt and
I want you to know how
much we appreciate your keeping the important things in the house so
well maintained. Many
thanks for another spectacular vacation. Yes, this is our 7th year and each
one is better than the
last. Thank you for caring so much about your beach home and for sharing
it with us.

Great Beach House!! We
were here for a family wedding at the Delaware Seashore State Park at
the Towers. It was so
beautiful and the reception was at Mangos. It was so nice to come back to
this house on the beach

Waves Carshing on the Surf

What a great beach
house! Was amazing to fall asleep to the waves crashing on the surf and
enjoying coffee on the
deck in the morning watching the sunrise over the ocean. The kids
enjoyed playing every

Lovely home, beautiful
private beach and in Bethany, the Quiet Resort. The perfect place for a
family vacation---even
if it was the week after the unnamed tropical storm! We plan to return. If
you have small children
just be aware that there is no lifeguard on this pristine private stretch of
beach. The beach is also
adjacent to the Delaware State Parks section of beach so you can walk
forever and never
encounter a single highrise---my idea of heaven.
Nothing like the mayhem in
Ocean City---but if you
like mayhem that is only a short drive south---as is Assateague and the
wild ponies.

Families with Young Children,
